Join us at Firehouse Wine Cellars on Tuesday, May 6, to learn the subtle and exquisite art of fragrance mixology, led by Dee Imbert. Dee, originally from New York City, comes from a background in cosmetics and has always been passionate about perfume – especially mixing her own signature scents. What began as a creative outlet has now grown into her small business, Itβs What I Wear. Recently, she relocated to South Dakota for a change of pace but brought her love for fragrance with her. In her first fragrance mixology class in Rapid City, Dee will demonstrate how to mix your own perfume, cologne, air freshener, and linen spray β but why learn to make your own? Many commercial fragrances use harsh chemicals that are toxic to your skin and body. Dee uses only natural ingredients in her fragrances β like jojoba oil, coconut oil, and naturally derived essential oils β to create a scent that is unique to each and every one of her clients and that is safe for you, your little ones, fur critters, and the environment!
Tickets include the fragrance mixology class led by Dee Imbert; a 1 oz. bottle of your own scent made in class; a 0.3 oz. eau de perfume, made by Dee; a glass of wine or draft beer. Class begins at 6 PM, but please arrive a few minutes early so we can get you checked in and a glass of happy-hour wine!
Tickets $30 – Get yours here!
